The Hensel Mi series is the flagship product range for surface-mounted power distribution boards in IP65-rated polycarbonate housings, suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. Available in sizes from 150×300×170 mm to 600×600×192 mm (box sizes 1–6), Mi enclosures feature trilateral combinability for extended multi-module configurations. The Mi circuit breaker box variants (Mi1455 to Mi1684) accommodate 3-pole MCCBs and busbars up to 630A, with FIXCONNECT plug-in terminal technology for wiring-reduced installation. All Mi series enclosures are manufactured in polycarbonate (PC) — UV-stabilised, corrosion-proof and IK08 (5 Joule) impact-resistant — with transparent or opaque hinged lids with tool-operated fasteners. Metric knockouts on three walls accept PG and M-thread cable glands without additional modification.
The Hensel KV series covers compact surface-mounted distribution boards (up to 63A, 1–4 DIN-rail rows) for residential, commercial and light industrial applications. The KV 9112 M (12 modules, IP65) is the standard-format machine housing for MCB mounting in outdoor and semi-exposed environments. KV enclosures are available with transparent or solid grey lids (RAL 7035), with or without lock, in 1-phase and 3-phase configurations. The modular design allows row extensions to be added without replacing the main body — supporting future circuit additions without panel replacement. All KV boards comply with IEC 61439-3 for final circuit distribution and carry CE marking for European installation.
The Hensel ENYCASE range provides empty polycarbonate enclosures from 84×84×55 mm to 300×600×170 mm in IP65 and IP67 ratings for control and junction box applications. Integrated membrane glands (rubber entries) provide immediate IP65 sealing with no tools — membranes can be cut for standard PG or M-thread gland installation. The ENYSTAR series adds hinged door variants with snap-close handles for applications requiring frequent access — door inserts available in transparent polycarbonate or solid colour. All ENYCASE and ENYSTAR enclosures are ATEX Ex certified for use in zone 1 and zone 2 hazardous areas (Ex e increased safety), covering chemical, oil and gas, and pharmaceutical outdoor junction box applications. The ENYMOD system allows lateral combination of multiple enclosures into extended distribution systems via clip connections, with full IP65 maintained at the junction.
The Hensel ENYFLEX flush-mount distribution boards in polystyrene comply with EN 62208 for built-in residential and light commercial applications. Available in 1, 2 and 3-row versions (12–36 modules), ENYFLEX boards accept all major European MCB brands on 35 mm DIN rail. Recessed mounting frames and surface-mount adapters allow the same board to be used in cavity wall, solid wall and surface-mounted configurations — reducing the need for separate SKU management on mixed installation projects.
